575 dies on takeoff
I have a 35 Reggie Special, 2002 that has twin 575's and it ran great until last year. Starting last year the right engine would sputter at tiems taking off and die. It is doing the same thing this year but much more frequent. I put MSD ignition and a new distributor pick up and no change. I had the 80 additional hp kit put on it a couple of years ago which turned the boost up to 5.5 lbs and had the ECM boards sisent off and recalibrated for the change in boost along with the MSD ignition. It appears to be running rich on that engine. Any help is appreciated.

check with Merc bulletins
There is a bulletin that addresses this issue in simple terms adjusting your throttle bodies to new spec. Check with your Merc dealer to get all the specs.
