Nick - Do you keep it up at Grand? That sounds like a pretty good deal. I have a buddy that has been thinking about a 30 baja, this might be the ticket for him.
Good luck!
Blaine

yea Blaine I keep it up at Hammerhead Marina. I lived in okc 2 summers ago and had it out on draper a lot (scary I know) and down at texoma a few times. Its a solid boat man if your buddy would like a fountain.

I think 25K feels pretty light.....maybe that's the wholesale value.

I think it also depends on the paint and colors. With quite a few Fountains out there the better looking ones will sell quicker.

if the boat is in good shape 25 is light. But like others depends on the local economy and what someone wants to pay. I bought a 1991 for 26 engines were brand new though. 35-40 is probably about right. Again economy.

I've got a 1997, 27' with 502 I'm trying to get 30 for. Tough time of year for selling boats. I am willing to budge if someone shows me cash. 502 mag and desireable colors, white/blue/black. Super condition.

Not being a dick but the numbers on your boat are 12-14K ACV and 19-22K retail... in spring. Thats w/o a trailer. Add a g for a trailer both sides. The market is all but gone guys

A 29 w/twins is a hard boat to sell. There was one near me with twin 500HPs that was going for $32k last spring. I think $30k would get people to respond.

Been in the biz almost 20 years. Was a dealer. I don't use any books on perf boats. Toomany variables. NADA etc are good for a 20 Sea Scout w/ an outboard or for cruisers when you need to get finance values
