Did you sell the 47 Ed ?
Those motors should really rock that boat, you might get another plaque at the Shoot Out with that combo

Triple 525'sc were a handful for gas, wonder what 800's would be like?

47's not sold yet, had a few decent offers just not where we want to be at yet. You know me I'm always shopping!

With that said I'm going to pass on this deal. I was told it might be picked up for around $70k and it's on a Myco. I'm trying to get them to list it here. If anyone wants info on it PM me and I can point you in the right direction.

Motors were de-tuned after dyno runs to make them live and the entire package is low hour.

The wife and I bought this boat yesterday. Took it out and it runs very well.

I do have a few questions.

The boat has 2" IMCO shorties on it w/out splash plates. It's a little bit of a chore to get it up on plane. I'm wondering if I add the plash plates it will help? Righ now it's got four blade 30 pitch hydromotives on it.

It has the IMCO electric super fuel system and I can't find the switch! Guess I just need to follow the wires back?

420 Blower isn't small. A 871 is 436CI, just a bit larger than a 420CI B&M. The B&M is larger than a 671.

Doesnt matter because these are 250 Blowers. I can see by the pulley setup they are overdriving the heck out of them.

For a 540CI, I'd lose the 250's and put a larger 420, 871, blower on them. If you must run the 250's, change the oil often, and keep an eye on the bearings, cuz they will wear out fast.

Buddy called R3 and he said the fuel switches are wired to gauge selectors. He was correct, the pins were pulled so you could see the arms move. I got them put back in and all is right there.

Changed out the wheel and did some cleaning on the blowers. I'm making 5# with this set up. Going to check pulley numbers and get the next size. Lot's of chrome in the engine compartment once I started cleaning. After market heads, studs, MSD boxes, etc. Pretty nice set up.

I got a good deal on the boat, but I'm going to have some money and sweat equity into it getting it 100%. It needed some TLC and a few odds and ends then I'll list it. They said it ran 116 when the motors were at 800hp I'd like to see that out of it before it's gone.

Yesterday I got a box from Fountain (hatch lift arm, etc) and Gail threw the performance report in the box. It ran 87 GPS with 500hp's with 1.36 gears and 15.5 x 25 Hydro's

Congrats!

Are you lowering or rasing the boost?

The fountain test sheet is nice, but sometimes inflated. Mine lists 98 mph hahaha

I think they need turned back up to 800hp. It's my understanding they were lowered to make them last longer. I'll do some research on the motors and check pulley sizes before I do much.

I need some seat time in the boat, I've only had it six days.
