I bought a pair of new ones from Tony @ Fountain last year. I remember them being cheap... maybe $10-15. Don't quote me on that though LOL

mine work but are broke off in half as well. Kind of a stupid design on them as they stick straight out and anytime your in the compartment your going to snap them off. Once I get the boat out Im going to look for a flush mount LED or something to replace them

Got o a Marine supply store and get them with the metal brackets. They're not indestructable but a lot more durable.

any 12v light is going to work and I wouldnt think they wouldnt have to be marine grade as long as they were sealed up nice. But I would imagein you can probably some nice marine lights one Ebay or amazon as well.

I had to replace one of those white bilge lights once after finding the wolder joint had failed on one of the wires inside. So I bought 3 one to replace the broken bilge light and 2 to put in my anchor locker. 1 out of the 3 broke its solder joint right out of the packaging! Luckly I'm pretty good at soldering but if anyone likes the performance of it heres a few links.

The 2nd link did not quote prices but the West Marine is a bend me over price I paid 1/2 that The smaller light is a better fit in tight 2x engine type set up!
