Tim, I have had little luck getting answers to these types of questions on this forum. Lots of "go fast" knowledge but few folks seem interested in the increased comfort part of owning a Fountain. I thought that all 35's came with refrigerators at least the newer ones. Obviously this is not correct. Post the measurements of your drop-in cooler. Is there more room available in this area if you were to do a bit of cutting? The West Marine catalog has a bunch of refrigerators all with listed sizes. This might be a good place to start. Then there is the issue of battery power as they take 3+ amp hours. I would want one on its own deep cycle battery. Anyway, if you post the measurements I will certainly poke my nose around. My 29' has an icebox too. I did read where a refrigerator "was" an option. What year is your boat?

Go right to the source, ask Reggie and his boys. Im sure they could tell you exactly what you want to know.

Good luck guys.

I have one that I purchased from a fourm member here, It does drop right in and take the place of the cooler. Works on 12v or shorepower. You do lose a good amount of "Cool Space" but works much better then ICE!!! The unit is made by NorCold.

My unit is not in the boat and when time permits I'll get pics and measurements for you.
