Default need some fountain knowledge

I am looking at a 42' lightning with triple 454 supercharged carb motors it is a 1998. What kind of speed can that set up obtain..? give me the pros and cons if anyone knows.

525's? Low 90's

Prob low 70's from what I have been told from friends that have owned these.

I would say in the 70's lots of weight with trips, if they're stock motors.

it will do 70 with the center engine off dragging a drive.....

i would say high 80's low 90's....

BTW i have owned a triple non step 42...not speaking on assumtion...

I know stock 502 efi (415 hp) trip will do 83.

I had a 42 1993 flat bottom 525 SC boat ran 81 GPS when dailed in. Steps should be worth a few. I burned $8k worth of fuel May - August get ready for that. The SC's are very thirsty and run on 92+

we had a 99 trip 525 sc it ran 92 all day every day stock with smaller pulleys it ran 95
flat rate is offline
