Remove Port-A-Potty with pump out.
I am wanting to remove my potty for space and need to know the best way to do it. I have 2 hoses that connect to the rear of it. One is about a 2" black hose which i assume is the pump out hose. There is also a small, 1" clear hose which I'm not sure about. Does this pump water from my fresh water tank? If so, I'm assuming I need to plug that hose too to hold pressure when I turn the water pump on? Also, I tired removing the hoses from the rear to see how easy it was and I could get them to spin but couldnt get them to slide off. Any tips? Thx, Jay

The hoses developed a set or squish from the clamps. That's why you
can't remove them easily. Use hot water to soften the hoses. As
pointed out above, the small hose is for the vent. You will need to
cap off or plug the thru hull fitting or you will get some water in
through that vent hose.

I did not have to mess with the pump out/sewer hose since mine is
a gas fill looking one near the anchor locker. It has an o-ring to seal it
and is flush with the foredeck.
I REMOVED the potti and all the hoses! No stink possible. You are
correct that you will need to plug/cap the hose in the bathroom if
you are leaving the hoses intact.
