Unhappy Ugly Compass Help

What have you guys done about the ugly discolored compass on the older Fountains? I need some ideas. My interior is all white with blue trim and a big yellowing compass.

I've painted a dash panel for an aftermarket stereo in my truck and used plastic paint in a spray can purchased from a local auto paint supplier. Preped with plastic prep to make the paint stick. Paint wouldn't scratch with a fingernail.

If you youbtube that plasti dip that suff turns out pretty good. Nice thing about it is you can peel it off in the future if you wanted and its very durable.
