Default 38 Fountain Full Staggard problems

looking at a 38 fountain full staggard. Was wondering the history on these boats. How bad are they on drives and props. Is there an easy fix. Any help is appreciated.

Only problems I know of are the headers on 525s. Haven't heard of a fix for them. I have been seriously researching these boats as I too would like one.

not sure if I understand the question? Not a thing wrong with a full stagger 38. Just to clarify, the full staggered ones came out in 07 I think. The earlier 38s were a semi-stagger/half stagger, whatever you want to call it. Both are good in my opinon, in more ways than one.

i have 7 blade herrings and they have been on the boat for two years and absolutely perfect! Prior owner did have problems w/ throwing 5 blade props. and once he changed to the 7 blades had no more issues. I also have tegue prop shafts, -standard ones are known to break. The full staggered does take a little getting used to as far as planning-but once mastered it is easy. I had a 35 lightning prior but was not comfortable w/speeds over 84mph. The 38 handles big water perfect! I can not think of any manufacturer that runs a 38 ft. w/525"s that will compete w/ these full staggered fountains!

had it out this past weekend-it ran 94.5 w/2 people 1/2 tanks- hit rev limiter so had to pull back there was more speed to be had! With 5 bladders it would do 97 mph. i
