This is the boat when it ran OPA....

http://thejerseyboyz.homestead.com/XtrasRacing.html Yes the former owners name is Jim and he goes by the screen name of "Donzilla" on here. There was only one that was converted to a sit down and that was the one that Boomer35 owned which was originally known as "Chick's Beach" when it was a stand up owned by Gino

Your looking at ball park 83-84 mph top speed on her w/o any mods, one trick I have learned is to run 75 lbs in the bow for calm water and 125 lbs for rough and she should keep her balance and skim right over the top after 78 mph(this is the point that she will get on top of the step) Good Luck with her!!!

That is awesume info ! You wouldn't by chance know about 2000 Fountain 38 Factory F2 boats would you? It seems like you have been around a little while. My boat is # 5 of 6 factory F2 boats built in 1999-2000. I'm trying to find some history on it. If you could help that would be awesume . Thank you ! Chad

ps it looks like it had repairs to the port side (about where the numbers would be) at one time.

I apologize, I really never kept track of the F2's as after the SpeedWear boat left(ballpark 2002), they havent returned to the racing side of things. The F1's have come and gone with mine being the one consistently raced since her birth, mine being the first ever. The SpeadWear boat was a California based team so there is a huge possibility that might be yours. I'll try and reach out to some of the old factory guys and see if they can come up with something and pass on to you.

Thank you so much. I think mine was east coast but not sure. Here is a pic of what I think might be one the brother ships to mine found out here in Cali. You can tell by the square bow eye in the front. Same as mine,

Thanks again
