Fountain Facelift/Dash Upgrade & Vessel View Install
Modern Mercury Racing Engines provide the capability of running a Vessel View display. This display is a great tool for:
Monitoring Fuel Consumption
Fuel Level / Distance Until Empty
Fresh Water Level
Gray Water Level
Speed
Engine Gauges / Status
Engine Fault Codes
Generator Control
Etc.
The Vessel View display can be used as a primary dashboard monitoring, or as a secondary reference for the co pilot of pleasure / poker run and race vessels. For this particular 2007 Fountain 38LT we have installed a custom Carbon Fiber Dash Panel and Vessel View on the passenger side. The limited dash space didn’t hinder much room for placement. As the pictures show the final placement was on the glove box door. The glove box is still fully functional as a storage space. Connecting the Vessel View to the engines is relatively easy with the supplied Mercury Racing Harness and Adapter Harness. Once connected and powered up, all parameters and engine info can be entered. Running both engines will confirm that the engines / Vessel View are communicating. Next step, enjoy the seamless gauge network / display!
