Default New to the Fountain family

Hello all my fellow Fountain owners,
I just bought my first Fountain, 42 poker run edition. Currently has 800's and #6's
I'm powering it will 1200's from JC Performance.
Does anyone on OSO have a 42 poker run with big power ?

Very Nice, have not seen that boat before.

There is a 42PR built/maintained out of Lake George with 900's, runs very well.

Who's doing the motors?? Jeff Cropper? I think If I was having motors built up that way I would be using Richie Zul. But that's just my humble opinion.

thanks for your humble opinion but it wasn't asked for. not looking for an argument but , I know both JC and Zul very well and both are excellent engine builders in their own rights. I didn't start this post by asking what anyone thought of one engine builder over an other. I have had JC engines in my boats for years that run incredible for a long time. Miami to key west 5800 rpm all the way and didn't miss a beat. The guy has always been there for me. Again I'm not interested in a who's better than who discussion , I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with 42 poker run with big power
