I have never been fond on the hatch pivoting from the rear, but it is what it is.
Has anyone removed their hatch/sunpad to facilitate engine work (twins)?
Just wondering how hard it would be to R&R...

Wildman, thanks. I didn't realize it was a slide-off at the rear. I thought I might have to drive out pins with a drift or something...
Am I understand correctly or do you still have to drive out pins in the rear?

It's not hard at all - just a heavy sob. Two person job for sure. Take the 5/16th bolts out of the back, remove hatch ram, and carefully slide it backward until you're able to lift it up and off.
