As for the fountains, I have measured and if you carried the bow angle it is about 10". That said there are a lot of different angle bows, should we go back to flat nosed boats?
I don't know the reasons why but I always assumed the idea derived from the Hydrostream design...

There are a lot of other boats out there that have very similar styling but the Fountain always looks unique. Just my $.02
Exactly!!!!!!!! End of discussion!!!!!!

I measured my 27 from rub rail to beak and it was 28. So they didn't count all of it. I agree with third, deflects spray in ugly water.

Having owned two Hydrostreams, one 42' Fountain, and dating various women with slightly bigger noses than average I have to say I am pretty fond of beaks.

The beak actually creates lift. Not for "length" lol

not sure the beak adds any length at all,,most think it does,

if you look at the bows the rake on the one boat is longer ,, the rake on the Fountain is much shorter and sharper ,

Add some docking lights like tons of boats had back in the day, and makes it look alive.

Is the closest boat under the red cover a Baja, Formula, Cigarette, Outerlimit's, or a Bayliner?

Hard to tell. They all look alike.
Guess if there was a side shot of the logo, that'd help.
Whoops, my bad. They use that round logo.
