Default Insurance

I have a 2000 38 Lightning. Twin 500efi's making 588hp each runs 82 +/-. I currently have insurance running around $1580 per year with layup from mid Oct - Mid march. Coverage 300/300. I am wondering if I can do better? What you think?

I had a 2005 38 Lightning with 525EFI's with a top speed of 88, same coverage as you. Used to pay $837 / year.

Call Stacy at WakeZone. When I bought my 47, my insurance jumped up to north of $4,000.. she got me a policy for less than $3,000. she's great..

In today's litigious world and god forbid something bad happens, I'd bump the 300's. That doesn't get you far today. Just my .02 cents.

One more mark for Stacy! She has always been the best for my 32 and my 42. Service is top notch as well.

I have a '97 22ZX with 600 hp. 250/250 coverage. Maybe because I'm over 50 and going through AARP, but underwritten through The Hartford and annual premium is only $238. Other member quotes about what they are paying makes me a little nervous. Too good to be true?? Premium has been about that for the last 4 years.
