not the crank...camshaft is broken...sheared in 2 pieces...punched a hole in timing cover and oil pan. took out number 2...block is toast, couple of valves are done. That's what I know so far. And for now all I can say.

Wow that sucks never had a camshaft break all by itself in my case it usually had some help like from a connecting rod hitting it .

Hey Green Lightning. Do you have the green 33 Lightning that was bought out of MD with the 509 NA motors? One of my favorite boats when I owned it back in '95.

Yes john I still have it , This is what it looked like like before painted it put superchargers and surface drives [IMG][/IMG]on it

Once i put the surfaces drives it gave me the ability to turn the boost up with out breaking the gears in the drives and it was like a new boat
