Default WTB 29 Fountain

If anyone is thinking of selling their 29 Fountain, let me know. I'm looking for a clean (better than average condition) mid-2000 29, single engine/blue motor in 200-300 hour range. Most of the Fountains I've seen need help on the graphics front, so that has been a showstopper. I'm on here periodically, you can also contact me directly to me at [email protected] if you have one or know someone who may have one and be interested in talking.

Thanks folks!

Mike

Check out the 29 that I have listed in the classified. Great boat for small money. Doug

I just bought a 2005 29; hopefully you were not one of the few I beat to the punch. For price comparison I paid $39,000 (with trailer) and it has a 496ho with 380 scanned hours with 200 being below 1200 RPMs (I put a lot of weight on that hopefully it does not backfire). It also has a brand new outdrive, lived its whole life at the same marina, and had all service records to accompany it. Good luck.

Wow, I usually idle my boats out of the marina after a short warm up. Can't imagine more than 50% of just over idle unless it was used as a fishing boat. The 29 is a great single engine performance boat. Enjoy.

Thanks Doug. I need a fully appointed cabin unfortunately. I spend the occasional night on the boat, so need a v-berth with sleeping quarters, porta-potti, etc.

Acarrick. Just started looking within the past week so was not involved with the boat you purchased. Also, I have not looked at 496 boats but may move in that direction if I cannot find a blue motor boat over the next few months. I'll pull the 496 and drop in a new motor, so still need a Bravo XR or better with external steering. I've redone boats in the past with new motors, drives, etc and don't really want to get into that again. Worse case I'll end up with a Sunsation or Formula. Assuming your purchase is in nice condition, good price for an 05. With 200 idle hours, the previous owner must have had a crappy location at the marina, no wonder they sold the boat . Congrats on the purchase and enjoy the new toy this summer. Looks good!

29 is a great boat. You will enjoy that hull. Seems like the clean ones get sold fast since the price point and size of the 29 is a mangeable boat for many interested in our hobby. Hope you fine one before the 80 degree weather sets in

Just curious with only 180 moving hours, why did it need a new outdrive?

They used it as a dredge. Someone needs to clear the channel for the rest of us

Back on point, someone with a clean 29 needs a bigger boat, I know you do. Email me
