Interior shot. The only problem I have is a missing bezel on the Gaffrig speedo. the prior owner said the one he ordered didn't fit. Is there a special size I need?

Mate 229,
Boat looks great! Now that you have some seat time what do you think? The Speedo is a special size. Call Gaffrig direct and ask for Mike. Tell him the Candyman sent you. Ask about an OSO discount or would he take Swedish Fish in exchange for the bezel. If you ever need to do a large purchase of Gaffrig products contact Wally on the board. He has some real good prices.

Thanks guys,
Rob, I still lurk around the Checkmate forum. I'll allways have good memories of the 229. It was my first over 70mph boat and was exteremly reliable.
Candyman, after some seat time, put over 30hrs on so far, I love this boat. It took a little adjusting from the old Checkmate but what a difference! The procharger really gets it moving when it's on boost, and the ride is like it's on rails. I have the big K planes on it which give me a little more running surface since they are almost as long as the swim platform. With them I get on plane very easily.
My Checkmate got some looks at the ramp but the Fountain draws stares and comments every time.
