2004 42 lightning setup
Hallo I bought a 2004 Fountain 42 lightning in
Germany
engines are 525 EFI with bravo xr
I added extension boxes (selling) and imco -2 shorties and now the propeller shaft center is 1" below the bottom in front of the drive with the drive parallel to the bottom.
We did a test in the lake of Como few days ago with max 5 propellers 32 labbed
The test was with full tanks (all of them) and tree people.
pLaning was a bit tricky and not short but I have seen worse.
Speed first attempt was 80.5 GPS 5000 rpm
the setup seems to be a bit extreme. Any thoughts or similar experience?
