There was a 35 Executioner at the Chicago show with 496's. The performance sheet shows 80 mph. It still sounds a little optimistic. Best way to know for sure is go for a ride with a GPS.
Next to the 35 was a killer 38 with staggered 525's. The performance sheet showed 91mph. That would work.

I have driven both 35 models and the single step, in my opinion, is a better ride in the rough stuff. Starting this year, 2003, they changed the trim tab postioning and picked up 2 to 3 MPH over the original tab postion. The Executioner w/496's I drove hit 79.4 on GPS with 2/3's fuel and 3 people in 2 to 3 footers. The Executioner w/500's hit 83.8 under the same conditions, same day. The twin step w/500's hit 86.1 . Help the info helps.
