Is my Fountain famous?
I summon the Fountain Gods (and junkies).
I spoke to a marina today. He said that the '84 10 meter I just bought was built by Reggie to race against Don Johnson in California. It was a Gale Banks twin turbo (that much is fact). It also had orange paint with Executioner written along the side. Does this jog anyone's memory? Who could I talk to that would know fact from fiction. Also, if anyone has pics I would love to see it in the original colors (I'd pay for pics)...
Thanks- Bryan

How do I get hold of him? Just call Fountain and ask?
I know, I know. Pictures. Don't have the capability at home Allegedly, the boat was repainted by Fountain as the original owner could not get it insured with the wild (for the time?) paint.

Call Gale Lane at Fountain 252-975-2000 ext 6290 Give her the hull ID #'s and she will give you all the info that they have on that particular boat. If she can't come up with any info, because of the age, ask her to talk to Robert Toller, as he has been there from day 1 with Reggie. Robert remembers EVERYTHING!!! (kinda like a elephant) but a nice elephant. If you have a hard time reaching Robert at Fountain, post back here again, and I'll call him at home in the evening.

10x,
I called Fountain. First off, GREAT people. Everone I spoke with was very friendly and helpfull. No where else would I have gotten a response like I did.
Anyway, Gail said that my boat was the one in a promo video where Fountain passed Johnson and the caption said, "Bye, bye moviestar". The boat was the Baltimore Boatshow boat back in '84. It had orange hullsides.
I'm supposed to get a video and info on this. When I do, I'll let all of you know. I'm sure everyone is on the edge of their seat...
