Hi OffDuty
Your not the only one who has been treated like that. My 99 fever did go back to the factory with that problem. But after I payed to have it shipped to them they said the tank wasn't cracked. Ill tell you all about it from start to finish. Including the Fountain dealer who said it was cracked. If you have any more news on your talks with them I would like to hear about them. I'm getting together all the emails and phone messages and I also have a couple of pictures of some extra work I had done while it was there. I cant believe they let it leave the shop in the condition it was in.

My '99 27 Fever had a fuel leak where the pick-up comes out of the tank. It was a quick one hour fix. All I had to do was remove the pick-up clean and reseal the threads. When I smelled gas in the boat and it was coming from the rear of the tank I naturally assumed the worst but it was an easy fix.

My freind's '00 35 Lightning had the same problem with one of his tanks. So in this time frame they definetly had a problem with sealing the pick-ups and sending units. Check yours closely!

Ron
