Default Blower vent inserts

A while ago I saw that someone had stainless steel bezels or inserts made for their blower holes in the transom. Any idea who has them or who makes them????

Bill, I think Livorsi makes them. Check out Trick Marine at www.trickmarine.net. If Livorsi carries them, Fred will have them or can get them. I have bought 2 speedos from him and has been very timely and great to deal with.

I made them myself. I designed them with a flapper inside to keep the water out while at rest since my boat sits with the rubrail at water level. I have not had 1 once of water in the bilge since I installed them.

That is what I am looking for and EXACTLY the reason for them. Two weeks ago we had some problems that resulted in water literally running in the blower vents on the transom. VERY disconcerting hearing that sound.

Interested in making another set??

I wish they were quick and easy to make as I have gotten many request for them. Some w/o the flappers just for cosmetic reasons, some for the same reason as you. Just might have to think about this for a winter project. Thanks

Since I can't get them from Fred does anyone know where else to get the vents? Mine are cracked on the edges and need replaced.

I couldn't find any that were a direct fit on mine. So I took the stockers to a paint shop that matched the colors exactly. Part of mine are white, other section is black.
