I'm goin to be honest here and state that i didn't like it...added too much to the dash/helm height, and was a bit narrow.
I'm not too fat either.

Did you know that the boat is deeper adding 4" of freeboard?

Thats one of the good points...Its still nice boat besides the cabin entry.

No It would not stop me...The wife is really pushing for a new one with mild power for family usage.
She is petite and was able to stand in the cabin...big plus there.
That new door was needed but I don't like what became of the dash because of it.

Was at the storage building on the old 42 a little while ago... I must admit that the passanger side having a glove box and more leg room is a big plus over the old cockpit, but that dash add on still kills me.
