We have a very experience pilot for our event. Joe was in Key West 3 weeks ago, hired to chase The King of Shaves Fountain around the race course. He has been doing the races now for over 10 years so knows how to position the heli for great running boat shots. Now it is just up to you Jay !!

If Jay can shot great photos from the moving platform of Predator I am sure he will perform stellar from the helicopter. Not to add any additional pressure...
Jay, as this will be the second run with a helicopter that my boat will not be able to run in maybe you could come by the shop and take some pictures of it on the trailer and use your photoshop magic to make it look like I am running at 90 mph

Wow Bob you are the man, talk about some motivation to get out of bed after new years. I think I might sleep in my boat. I am so looking forward to this!!

A few more runs with us Rick and you will soon know the area. In the new year I would like to take the group back to Everglades City. That is a cool run.
Here is one of my all time favorite boat / helicopter pics. This was taken from my boat and is my friend Randy Bird on Georgian Bay. The pilot is Jim who I was saying would let me fly under him.

I am so psyched about this run, I dug out my naples/Marco chips for the gps, and while I was waiting for paint to dry, I got in the boat, and looked over the area. I dont run a Garmin like everyone else, I have a standard horizon with c-map chips(because I got the GPS at the west marine clearance center cheap, and the chips on ebay for like $10 each), charts look good, cant wait. Testing this weekend, I have a few props to try, and a few more on the way.
