Don,

If you take new Golden Gate exit on 75 head into 41. Make a left onto US 41 and head south about 3 miles passing the "4 corners" you will see the ramp on the left about 4 blocks further. If you miss it you will run into the Cove Inn about a block past that. IT is pretty simple. I will have my cell on all morning 239-253-4773. call me if you need further directions. That be my home ramp.

I am going to use the boat ramp at the south end of Naples Bay. It is off of Bayshore on the east side of the bay. It is called Bayview Park. The address is 1500 Danford St, Naples, 34112. It is a Collier County public boat ramp. It is not very big ramp. I am probably pushing the limits, but, ...

I believe the boat ramp that Specialized (John) is talking about is the City of Naples Boat Ramp on 9th Ave, on the west side of the bay and close to Tin City.

I will have my cell if anyone has any questions. 239-464-9273

Default Revised starting procedure

I have been thinking about the 3 group starting procedure and now think it will be to confusing and will not come off as planned.
It will be simpler to have a mass start with all of us leaving at the same time. We can then settle in with a group of boats that is running a speed you find comfortable. I am planning on running at 60 MPH for the most part. I expect that there will be a group of boats that will want to run faster than that and also another group that will run slower than that.
Remember that all boats are to stop at Gordon Pass ( Naples ) where we will regroup for the run to Marco. It is planned that the helicopter will hover over Marco Pass to catch us coming single file into the river. If the helo is not in position as we approach Marco Pass then we will make another short stop until he is in position. This is important as it will Jay and Donna's last opportunity to catch your boat on film.

Bob/Dennis,
Waiting for word of what to do for today's run.
As of now planning to put the boat in, unless something changes.
