50 mph feels pretty fast on the water and I like being out there. This wasn't a slam.
I still respect serious machines like yours.
You rich oil company type bastage.

LOL, I know I know. Just kidding.
My machine isn't that serious compared to some of these guys out there. The great thing is that it starts up when I want, can take 300 hours of use, and still hauls the mail when I want it to. I don't find it much fun rebuilding motors after 20 hours, trucking in race fuel everywhere I go, blowing the hell out of something everytime I went out, even if it was free.
Standing on the dock with my thumb out is just not my style.

Yeah Yeah my boat will do 100+ but I dont run WOT everytime I go out..I wish they would just say if you go over 100 your not covered and you must have a GPS tateltale on board. I can count on one hand how many times I went over 100...Im no fool, thats moving and conditions had better be right. Im not in a race were hitting 100 is what its all about. I would rather be doing 80-90 in my cat then in a V..............

Whats the reason for the increases ? Is it accidents? Is it PWC's? We usually have one total out per year between Grand Haven - South Haven and prob a half dozen PWC and its a busy area in the summer. I know in 2003 there were 220 boat accidents in the State of Mi which was down but so were registrations - around 1 million reg boats . Where are all these accidents if thats what is driving cost up? Would think there would be more of them on here? - course there was a run on strapless pavement dragger's last month and the guy running with the water sleds in ILL. Does this happen more than we can even imagine?
Whats with the cat insurance - where are all these cat accidents? How many 100mph plus accidents? If its not the accidents that run costs is it the people that don't run the cans and rip their drives off type of claims? Would like to see some real statistics and how the increases are determined - other than the love letter from ins. co.
What's it like in LOTO and Havasu where you boat for more than 4 mo.- many accidents with hi-perf boats that are listed on average ins. co. black lists?

I think they know how much we love this (SPORT-HOBBY) and we will pay what ever it costs to do it. Not this ONE........I will sell it before I pay 6k to run a boat 20-30 times a year. If there are alot of accidents Im only hearing about the ones that make it to OSO. I think there charging this much because THEY CAN........
