The Last Samurai: Scott "Shogun"
Anyone in the Chicago area thinking about buying a boat from Scott Shogren (Shogren Performance Marine in Waukegan) would be making a wise choice dealing with Scott Shogren.
He (Scott) and his sidekick, Greg brought a 47' trailer down from Waukegan, pulled my boat out of the water and spent 2 1/2 hours in Diversey Harbor's parking lot, in that blazing 80+ degree sun trying to get me back in the water ASAP. It was a Herculean effort, which was, unfortunately unsuccessful.
Did that stop them? Not hardly. They pulled my boat back up to Waukegan, through the city in rush hour traffic and had the boat fixed before I finished dinner.
I thought that was impressive, but that's just me.

DITTO....I had a leaky drive which they fixed yesterday, while I waited.
Big Dog above had the darn hoist tied up with another 47 to get an empty trailer to take care of Big Dog; so I had to go float the boat to switch trailers nearby.
Thanks alot...show where I rate with a measly 42 and no fridge or shorepower and only 2 motors.

Re: The Last Samurai: Scott "Shogun"
Easy, Dave. This wasn't my fault, the boat never came out of the water. As for the Sonic, I relied on my mechanic's expertise. Had he told me that the Bravos (originally on the boat) and the XRs (to which I upgraded after the Bravos blew out) wouldn't handle the horsepower of the Livorsi Xtreme Chargers, I NEVER would've added those superchargers.
Frank (10X) rode with me and was even aboard during the last XR blowout and I think he would back me up when I say that there was nothing I did that caused it.
Anyway, don't you have a porta potty to empty?
: )
