That Oklahoma bill hasn't been passed. They tried it last year too. The only thing they have accomplished so far is after dark limitations. I could care less about those.

it's only a matter of time though.... but the way the test is written it would be impossible to do the test correctly at LOTO and probably even grand...

You are probably correct my friend. At Grand there is only one guy who stirs up all of this. He is disliked by everyone on the lake. He has been banned from 99% of the clubs and restaurants. I'm not sure anyone has ever seen him in public.

We discussed purchasing an ad in the local paper, and printing a full page photo of him. It's a cheap way to out him, and see just how nasty he wants to get knowing he can now be recognized.

When they do the test, do they subtract the ambient noise level from your reading?

Hopefully, if they see mufflers, they won't bother you.

It's better than a speed limit, so you should comply as much as possible.

Yeah, but they add the number of open containers present--multiplied by the number of persons in the boat and divide that by the number of motors. It's fairly complicated, I could tell you everything, but then I'd have to KILL you..

No the test is to be done when the background noise is at least 10 dB lower than the measured sound level.

So the surrounding sound can be up to 80 dB and the test still be done based on how I read it.

Un Ortho, you hit 103 is that correct? Were you running any kind of mufflers at the time? If so what? And finally what power do you have?

I am just trying to get a handle on what you were for a comparison?
