i know i can be done, but never seen it...i assume you need a special rack built? what do they look like who builds them where to get the specs etc.... just doing research for the not so distant future

What I have seen is additional beams(steel or wood) set so the sponsons rest on them length wise to distribute the weight. If it is steel they have carpeted pads on top to fit against the glass.

Same as I built the hydro lift for my cat You can see the board we cut, rugged and installed cross ways so both sponsons would rest on it, left the rear the same for the hull to rest on 2 parallel boards
The same can be done on a rack system. Some people make to much out of it, they just don't want to take the time to rack a cat
