Well of course he thought oso had it set up when he logged on it slowed down his computer
What I liked about the original thread was, that it showed that as power boaters we collectively care what happens to the manatee, BUT try to direct it with proper legislation and not just run around cutting off waterways. It's always better to have an answer to show the opposers than to just say no.

Re: What happened to my $TMC Thread?
I just received my first newsletter from CFFW and I was impressed. Steven Webster is one of the best writers I've read in a VERY long time. Informative and witty at the same time and VERY easy to understand his points.
In all the conversations I've had with boaters about the manatee, it has never been about the actual animal. It's always about the discriminatory restrictions set in place by the lying whining of the SMC.
And the Fish and Wildlife Commission certainly is not helping the matter at all. The only way we are going to "right" all these wrongs is for boaters to get involved. If we don't we only have ourselves to blame. And once the horse is out of the barn, it's gone.
Every boater in Florida should join CFFW. I hope to have our first West Coast Chapter meeting within the next two weeks, three tops. Have already passed out over 200 brochures and everywhere I have placed them the people have repeatedly thanked me for bringing this to their attention. People on this coast don't really know about CFFW.
That's about to change.....
