I was told that "Runaway's" deck came from Activator.

Hello All! I just got off the phone with my father-in-law, and he used to build engines for the Jesse James boat before Mark Lavin was killed tragically. I will try to dig up some of his pictures of the boat and stuff! Also, very nice thread. I can't get enough of the old history lesson's. My favorites are the old cig's. Thanks!

Scott, Thanks for that info! In Sweden we have a long n complicated relation to Magnum's ever since Mr Aronow was here racing late 60'.Maybe thats the reson why a Swede owns
"Runaway" today.
My raceboat is also a relative to the Mag 27...
Please try to figure what decks on this boat.

The only thing I know about "Lady L" was that it was a 27 Signature...Saw it race the Benihanna years ago...
