I agree, I had AZ Speed & Marine change my entire fuel system, pump, regulator, and injectors along with remapping my ECU. It's worth the extra $.
I also think the ideas about building a stroker motor for your boat sound very practical. Might want to give that some thought too.

One thing that's only been mentioned on the fringes - how happy will that hull be running 10-15 mph faster? Does Ebbtide offer the boat with another 100-150 hp? If not, maybe there's a reason.
I'd agree with the folks that say save the money (you'll *never* see it on resale, in fact it would probably hurt more than anything) and buy a true 24 degree offshore hull.
