Over transom dry exhaust - no mufflers
I never get stopped because the cops think the noise is coming from them "Cigar" boats all around me.
Sorry, Semper. This thread was too serious.

10 Meter Fountain with + or - 500 hp a side. I use Corsa mufflers w/ no idea on the db's.
I don't know how serious they are about enforcement in the area. I use them because I don't want to be "That guy"...

Factory 454 mag in my Baja. I have Gil tips on it that quiet it down. Still has that rumble. But you can actually have a conversation without yelling at each other.

top gun pr. 700's gil exhaust with corsa transom mounts. it read about 96db's at mid and wop. I added imco gatlins clamp on's to corsa made 79db's mid range 81 db's wop. Marine patrol was pleased and have left me alone since. I didn't have any speed loss with imco's

I do have 2 sets of NEW Zoomers mufflers for sale. List price is $799.00 each set....I will sell for $450.00 per set. These are 4" and through transom and will work on 496HO and up.
HURRY! They won't last long! Better to have them then get hassled...you will draw less attention to your boat with mufflers, especially a good thing if you had a few drinks
