I would have expected a Formula to have the shoe box seam glassed. Looks like it was just bonded. The wrecked donzi in a thread a couple weeks ago came apart at the deck seam also and didn't look to be glassed. I had just assumed it of builders of such good reputations.

Thats what I say also, there is more to this story, no way one boat wake could do this. Those are well built boats, they can take a good pounding, this looks like pounding some big waves. If that all happend at one time they are very very very lucky to be alive.

All of that damage did not occur from one wave. What you are looking at is the final blow that put the boxer on the mat. The years of abuse finally did her in.

My thoughts exactly. He may have had this out in the ocean for a while or who knows what. From the looks of the drives on that boat I would say that it was not well taken care of, and if they had just whiped it down quickly when they pulled it out of the water then they probably could have cleaned up the interior. I am thinking this boat was beat an inch past its life.
