Default Where to get used boat parts? Marine Salvage / Junkyards?

I need a harmonic balancer and pulley for my 1995 volvo penta 5.8 Fsi. This motor was only manufactured for a very short time so finding parts has been a nightmare. Do you guys know of some places I might be able to find these parts? Im located in florida so the closer the better but anything will help.

Thanks!

If lakeside does not pan out there is used marine place in Tarpon Springs. They have a lot of stuff but want top $ for it. I think it is called Pineallas county marine salvage or something close to that. But I would go new if you can get it.

If you have no luck with those, Try Checker Marine in Temperance MI. I know it's further away, but Charlie has all kinds of stuff. Bought a TRS off him a few years back.
Good luck in your search.

Just got a Merc 454 mag balancer pulley from Checker this summer. The design was changed a few years ago and the new style won't work on my ATI dampeners. (A local "marine mechanic" extorted my old pulley from me requiring the replacement).

Default Used boat parts

JC Marine in Lake Havasu City has now expandid and advertising that they are selling used boat parts. They have a great reputation. We have taken our boats there for the last 10 years, and we have always had great service. Talk to Greg (928) 505-5252

It's a 351 Ford Windsor. You should be able to find a damper on land real easy.
