Ratman - I should be out as well this weekend - will likely hit the beach bars Saturday - Undertow, etc. and then on to Gators. If you see a White/yellow/purple 30 Motion Cat, that's me - stop by and I'll buy you a drink...

FeverMike - where are you going to be this weekend? Nancy and I have not seen you guys in a while - let's meet up. I sold the Fountain and bought a cat from Scotty/Suncaost Powerboats. Let's meet up!

Good stuff, I can't add much, the guys pretty much summed it up. My favorites are the Wharf (right next to Pass-A-Grill Marina), Bridgeview (underneath the pasadena causeway), Rattlefish (Gandy), and perhaps the best is Mar Vista, but that's a bit south on Longboat Key.

The undertow is a kick-azz place to hang out, but I doubt you'd want to go by boat....it can be a Loooooong wade in from anchor. Not to mention, I don't know if I'd be comfortable watching my boat bobbing around in the surf and tide off the coast.

thanks Nick - I just took delivery of her on Monday and have only had her out once. Really eats up the bay slop - much better ride than the Fountain - but requires more attention. As my friend said, I should put "Respect Me" on the dash... ha!
