Aqua Buff, (do i need to use both)
I have a heavily oxidized boat, so i plan to use the Aqua Buff 1000, after the 1000, what is the best product to use, ive had good luck with the 3m for waxing so i was going to wax with that, or do i need the 2000 aqua buff???
Lets hear the secrets to applying the AB, what works best?

A LOT of water! Keep a spray bottle near you and keep it wet.
I would use both or finish with something like Finesse-it from 3M.
BTW I agree with Formula31 I will never buy this product again it is way too messy with so so results. Next year I go back to 3M or try Maguires buffing products.

I use something called Wizards Turbocut. It is also a water based compound and was recommended specifically for my 88 red hull. The Aqua Buff may be fine on other gels but not mine.

I swear by Aqua Buff. As mentioned, the secret is to use PLENTY of water with it. Use the 1000, then the 2000, then we was with Meguiars 56.

The secret to AB is to use plenty of water I kept a small bucket of water handy to wet everything down, then use any good marine wax. Let the fun begin

I used AB as well 1000 then 2000), and had good results. However, it is messy with all the water flying around at 2600 RPMs. I finished my boat with Waxing Frenzy.
