Re: 24 & 7 Boats
Interestingly enough I was in Islamorada Friday through this past Monday and was eating lunch at Papa Joe's (Bud and Mary's proximity) and in came a beautiful yellow 24' Cigarette. The guy told me it was a 1969. I think this may have been one of the very first of all the above mentioned boats.

Re: 24 & 7 Boats
I've learned (thanks to other members here!) that the Donzi (Spirit or Spitfire??) 24 molds became the Sonic 24SS in the late 70's. I think they were 24'2" in length and also had an 8' beam like the Banana and Cigarette.
Cordell,
Your Superboat looks like one that used to be around here...with the exception of name and murals on the side...same white paint with factory red side stripe. It was the "Rum Runner" boat listed under the Superboat owners forum...a '78 24 with Gale Banks twin turbocharged 454...good for around 90 mph...I miss seeing that bad boy around!!

DelewareRiverRunner,
I looked for the Rum Runner boat but I could not find it.
If you can post a picture here I would like to see it or give me the name of the thread so I can search for it.
Thanks,
Cordell

Cordell,
I'll be honest...I'd love to post some pics here but I don't really know how to do that. Go to the OSO forums page then scroll down to the Owner's Forum section until you get to the Superboat Owner's Forum. Once there, go to page 4 then scroll down to the thread entitled "24 Superboat BBC Twin Turbo !!!". Post #9 is a pic of the "Rum Runner". It's also on the www.powerboatlistings.com website. Hope you find, see and enjoy it! Let me know.

Delaware,
Adrenaline Powerboats builds a 24 with a 7 foot beam. With a 496HO it runs 74mph. They are out of Atlanta. The 24/7s eat up the rough stuff, there are still plenty of them running around South Florida. Check out www.adrenalinepowerboats.com for more info, ask for Mike if you need answers!!

Re: 24 & 7 Boats
That Adrenaline 24 is one sharp boat...looks like a mini Outerlimits!! I wonder if it is high dollar in comparison for its size compared to one of them??

Re: 24 & 7 Boats
Thats a tough question.....compared to other boats in its class (length) the V24 compares to the higher end custom boats i.e. pantera, superboat, progression. It is hard to say that a boat twice as long is twice its price. I wonder if Outerlimits made a 24, what it would cost ? I would have to say 125k-150k?? Just a guess.
