In Oklahoma you don't get squat Whether you buy it on the road or at the marina, they say the tax goes to improve area lake roads. Our area lake roads haven't been improved in 30 years.

They don't add the road tax to the price in our local marina. Most days gas is cheaper on the water than on land

Jersey rips you off for road tax and still doesn't spend it on the roads. It goes to the "general fund" and gets pizzed away anyway they want

In Wisconsin I fill up mostly at the marina where the boat is slipped. There is road tax on that gas. However the state of Wisconsin sends a percentage of all gasoline tax to the Wisconsin State Waterways Fund to use exclusively for boating related issues. Boat U.S. Did a study of this a year or two ago as to which states give back to boating. Wisconsin gives back one of the highest.
