Re: Hey Rob!!!!
Yup, the orange Palace lost it's bedoncedonk right in the middle of the Bay.
6.5 hours later I was back in my warm bed.
14 hours later the Palace was back on it's trailer with a somewhat subdued operator
Who knew Tow BOAT US is a taxi service too????

Re: Hey Rob!!!!
Trolling motor is in my pants
I said in the other thread had I listened to the wise ol puhbah. It cost me 325 for the tow, 725 for gas and a dinner coming soon for the puhbah and his family...all in all it was a great day though. usually I'm not a night boater at all, but it gave me a chance to learn some more about navigation and GPS coordinates. So I'm writin it up as an expensice learning experiance. I do have to add how lucky of a man Ted is, his wife is a trooper(20 yrs of him) she has seen it all. Wasnt the way to end a perfect day on the water watching the blue angels and 3 ft chop. But all things considered, could have been much worse.
So tow boat takes Ted and his wife and son back across the bay, I dock at the fuel dock and hook up shore power, keep in mind this place rolls up it's sidewalks at 6 pm. I get all the empties and clean up the cabin had the satillite on(1st wave for you sirrius people) and just kick back and relax, wake up in the am, get some killer coffee from a charterboat captn and just hang out till the fuel dock opens. then blast back across the bay.
