get rid of 525 efi or keep?
I have a 525 efi with about 35 hours. Since I can't get a whipple for it, I'm thinking about getting a 500efi with a supercharger. I will keep the boat for probably one more year. would you switch out the motors and go with 500 supercharged or stay with the stock 525 efi? If I switch, should I keep the 525 to sell with the boat at later time?

Teague claims to have the old style in stock.
I would think Whipple will have his ready real soon.I would think you could have some before the start of next season.

teague does not have a whipple in stock and dustin says that whipple should have some mid november. I worry about jumping on whipple after a new manufactor and for about the same price as the whipple kit , I can buy a used 500 efi. The boat would be easy to sell with 525 efi and a whipple but for the same money I can have 2 engines.

I dont personally know anyone with a 525 and the Whipple, but I dont think Dustin has been able to reprogram the 525 ECU. Thats a big problem. I Had twin 500 EFI's with the Whipple system on them and they were trouble free and did everything that was promised. He has the 500 HP ECU's down perfect.
