Mercury 300x... how much?
Retail?
Used? (hours too)
Are they really coming out with a 400HP Verado OB?
I am not shopping at the moment, so please no offers. I just want to know so I can establish a budget for a fun project.

Best man to talk to is David Gilmore of TNT marine in Miami, He runs the outboard division for John Tomillson. Sells more mercury outboards than any other dealer in the US. He will have an answer for you if there is one.

If you can find them new right now you will be paying somewhere between 19-20k each. Used you should be able to pick up for around 12-13k. I dont know about a Merc 400 Verado, but have heard rumors of a 300xs. I believe it is similar to the current 250xs.

As far as I know the deadline has passed to order new 300X's. Merc is not making the motor anymore due to enviromental regulations. To bad because I think they are the best O/B's I have owned.
