Banana,

You've mentioned Stan Irwin a couple of times. We raced Hydros with a David Irwin out of Miami who built some wicked horsepower, any relation? Some of his stories from the 70's and 80's in Miami were interesting to say the least.
I heard David had passed away.

Steve,
A piece of Miss US(Hydro)?
I hope what I heard about David was wrong. Don't start any rumors.
Is David related to Stan, if so how?

Was his Kid I thought!!we used to joke about Stans cigar reving 6000 RPM's when he was upset The daughter worked the office! Unless I got the wrong impression!

I heard another story on Magoons motors (Stan Irwin's)if they lasted they were Mercury's and if there was a failure it was on Stan He said OK!!

He also bought the Aircraft engine Parts washing line when Air-decks went out of business ..

Top,

Here is a link to my boat,

http://www.panteraboats.com/gallery_...tID=104&page=2

before the restoration, not sure of its history, was supposedly raced somewhere in the northeast with twin 200 outboards back in the 80's. I can see on the transom where the twins were mounted, but due to lack of $$$ its only getting a single for now.

I was going to finish it up with a more modern look, but, if this is something you would be interested in having around, I would gladly do it up old school, and bring it to some events. Also, if anyone knows any history on this boat, I'd like to hear it.

i don't know if someone already mentioned this, but there is a super clean sutphen 1982 30 with new twin sb and arneson 6 drives that used to be a race boat called i believe "all right" for 35grand. it is still set up as a race boat, but has been painted all white, but you could add the red and decals to the existing paint. for the mechanicals that looks to be a great deal IMO, but dad says we already have to many projects boats already

we need tv commercials like the ones for children in third world countries with pictures of abandoned beat up race boats instead to raise money for the events.
