FIA Historic specially is tough on that issue and it´s ok with everyone in the GT classes, even the Thundersport class which has a field of old Can-Ams/Prototypes together.

i went to go look at a 27 magnum sport today and it use to be arace boat. the current owner really doesn't know much of the history on it besides that he knew it was a race boat, which i can tell because the cockpit on it is really small (like a race boat) so i also knew it was a race boat. i got the hull number which mag274021280 and i called Magnum and spoke with the gm so he can give me some information on it. the boat was built in 1980 and it was delivered over seas on jan 1981 to one of the kings of Kuit which his name was Sheik Bader Al Mulla. the boat was orignally all white with 3 man bolster and merc 260's on it. with no cabin. that's pretty much all he could tell me on it. i have pics but not in this computer but the boat doesn't look like that anymore. i know this is not much helpful information, but if yall know of this boat please let me know and post pics of it of how it use to look and if i pull the trigger on this one i would love to restore it to how it use to look in time

mag274021280. = 27 foot hull # 402 built....... built December of 1980
I had a 1973 27 foot sport they are very cool boats & they raced quite a few of them back in the day. I raced mine in the first Barnegat Bay race in 1975 in Jersey. I came in third. What a thrill that was. Jolly Roger won the race, another 27 Magnum Sport.
