I know the 30 Shadow that Joey Detore raced with Frank and Dea Buckley (HMS Dea Won) went to Babylon...I owned it for a short time and repainted it all black...

A report from the Daily Express. 1966
The Daily Express Offshore Powerboat race on Saturday, September 3rd, was won easily by the American Jim Wynne, in his British built 28 foot powerboat Ghost Rider.
Jim Wynne completed the 198 statue mile course between Cowes, Ilse of Wight and Torquay 42 minutes ahead of his nearest rival.
His riding engineer, Bob Sherbert, had both ankles broken as the boat bounced through rough seas.
Ghost Rider was fueled and lubricated by ESSO.
The engineer wedged himself on the floor and told Wynne to keep going...he counted the time the boat flew in the air and said that he almost got to 5 seconds a couple of times.
