alluminum vs. cast iron heads

with a blown 540 the 671 is a little small it would help if you would bring the comp up some with iron heads i would go to about 8 2 with this you could slow the blower down some and it would make more power, with aluminum heads i have gone as high as 9 to 1 but 8.5 would be safe and yes with this combo 925 hp plus is very normal i like the afr i run the 357 cnc heads on my 540 at 8.6 and it makes over 1000

blasterbro..I agree with everything your telling this guy {I ran 871s on my 468s & looking at 1071s for my 540s} I was just shocked at how you insulted him.
