Dry sump vs. Wet sump #6s
How much difference in speed are the 2 drives?What is the sweptback skeg worth over the wet sump skeg?I have heard alot of #s but has anyone backed to back the drives?

From my understanding at least 5 mph. However, it depends on your prop set up as well. If you are already at the rev limiters you will see zip improvement.

I read somewhere that the swept skeg really only helps at high speeds, 95-100 +.... And on lake champlain at that speed you were hardly in the water and Byrd was holding on for dear life...
