Re: Horrible news - we lost one of our own - OSO member Bill272 has passed away
I had a close friend of mine pass away about 2 years ago at about the same age, doing something he loves. I have always kept the card from the wake in my wallet and always will because of the the quote inside of it. It was true of my friend and it actually helped me out a lot with his passing, I guess I just found comfort in it. Maybe some of you have have heard it before. There is no author for it so I don't know who wrote it but it is short and sweet.
" A beautiful life that came to an end, he died as he lived, everyone's friend. In our hearts a memory will always be kept, of one we loved, and will never forget."
My prayers go out to his family....

Re: Horrible news - we lost one of our own - OSO member Bill272 has passed away
I had the pleasure of meeting Bill and his family last October on one of the last boating days of the season, and im shocked and saddened by the news. He recognized my screen name from OSO and we talked boats for a while. I was looking forward to meeting up with him and his family this summer. He seemed like a great guy that loved offshore boats and loved having his family with him out on the lake. My prayers go out to his family he will truely be missed.
