I had the family come with me for the 1st time on the boat in the open ocean. With mild seas and warm California weather, they thoroughly enjoyed Avalon. We were having such a good time being "tourists", that we were one of the last to leave the island on Sunday afternoon.

I ran over to Catalina about 1 month ago. It was sweet. Weather was 65, it was cloudy until I got to Catalina. Then we had lunch and some cocktails. It is always a great time there.

We did the submarine tour and golf kart adventure tour. Ate our way through the island with food, drink and ice cream. Did some shopping and booked him. Even let G take us home in Newport.

See Hugh you should keep the boat, I am sure that your family loves it now.

What a beautiful spot.

You guys ever have to dodge the seals when running on plane? Or do they get out of the way?

so you do see them and have to turn sometimes to avoid?

I've clipped sea gulls occasionally but wouldn't want to run over a walrus
